BC Ferry Authority - Call for Nominations
The North Coast Regional District is seeking expressions of interest from qualified individuals who wish to be considered for nomination to the Board of the BC Ferry Authority.
In accordance with the Coastal Ferry Act, the North Coast Regional District, in collaboration with the Regional Districts of Central Coast, Kitimat-Stikine and Mount Waddington, will be nominating individuals to the BC Ferry Authority to fill one position on the Board, effective April 1, 2024.
The successful appointee may be eligible for appointment for a term of 3 years.
To be considered for this position an individual must be a qualified Authority candidate, as that term is defined in the Coastal Ferry Act (British Columbia) and must also satisfy the conflict-of-interest provisions set out in the Act. Individuals interested in being considered for nomination are required to submit a completed nomination form by 12 p.m. on Thursday, February 22, 2024.
