Recreation
The Haida Gwaii Regional Recreation Commission, formerly known as Queen Charlotte Islands Regional Recreation Commission, is a not-for-profit society originally established by the North Coast Regional District (NCRD) to provide recreational programs to the rural communities of Haida Gwaii. Over the past 30 years, the program has grown and the service boundaries expanded to include the member municipalities of the Villages of Port Clements, Masset, Queen Charlotte and Electoral Areas D and E.
The Commission oversees the operation and planning of the Haida Gwaii Regional Recreation service on Haida Gwaii, which delivers locally-responsive programming across the islands. For additional information, please visit their website!
