Oona River Ferry Service Complaint Webform
The North Coast Regional District during its June 20, 2025 Regular Board Meeting held in Oona River received feedback from residents about the concerns and challenges currently faced by an unreliable ferry service.
To further support advocacy efforts with the goal to improve the ferry service to Oona River, the North Coast Regional District is asking that residents and visitors that have experienced any issues with the ferry such as reservations not being honoured, lack of seats available, no arrival of the boat at its scheduled date/time, lack of or challenge with communication around servicing, and other additional issues to please fill out the webform below.
This information will be collected and used to further advoacy efforts as a documentation of instances where the ferry service to Oona River had been an issue.
A reliable ferry system is not just a luxury for Oona River, it is an essential transportation service that is a neccesity for the community's sustainaibility and long-term viability. The North Coast Regional District will advocate to support a reliable ferry service for Oona River and strengthen its advocacy efforts using the documented instances of ferry service issues submitted by members of the public.
