Nominations for Appointment to the B.C. Ferry Authority Board

The Coastal Ferry Act mandates a role for the Regional District in the nomination process for the Board of Directors for the BC Ferry Authority Board of Directors. The Regional District is seeking expressions of interest from qualified individuals who wish to be considered for a position as a member of the BC Ferry Authority Board.

The North Coast Regional District, in collaboration with the Regional Districts of Central Coast, Kitimat- Stikine, and Mount Waddington, will be jointly submitting 3 to 5 nominations to fill one position on the Board of Directors for the BC Ferry Authority commencing April 1, 2018. The term of the appointment is 3 years to March 31, 2021.

Detailed information about the Ferry Authority, its Board, requirements for Directors and the nomination form will be available after August 29th on the BC Ferry Authority website at www.bcferryauthority.com.

Individuals interested in being considered for nomination are asked to complete a nomination form on the Authority’s website and submit it to:
