NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at 7 P.M. at the Sandspit Community Hall (411 Alliford Bay Road) to receive representation from all persons who deem their interests to be affected by the following proposed bylaw amendments:

Bylaw 703, 2025 being a bylaw to amend the Moresby Island Official Community Plan Bylaw 236 and Bylaw 704, 2025 being a bylaw to amend the Moresby Island Interim Zoning Bylaw 186.

In general terms, the purposes of the amending bylaws is to amend the designation of a portion of District Lot 166 from A-1 Agriculture-Forestry District to R-1 Rural Residential; to support subdividing the parcel along the Agricultural Land Reserve boundary.

A copy of the proposed bylaw may be inspected at the offices of the North Coast Regional District, 14-342 3rd Avenue West, Prince Rupert, BC between the hours of 8:30 am and 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday, except statutory holidays, as well as the Regional District website on the Bylaws for Consideration webpage.
