Notice of Public Hearing - Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at 7 P.M.
Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at 7 p.m. at the Sandspit Community Hall to receive representation from all persons who deem their interests to be affected by the following proposed bylaw amendments:
Moresby Island Official Community Plan Amendment Bylaw (No. Bylaw 688.1) and Sandspit-Moresby Island Interim Zoning Amendment Bylaw (No. Bylaw 689.1)

In general terms, the purpose of the bylaw amendments is to allow for phase 2 of the tourism and commercial development of Hekate’s Retreat, formerly known as Willows Golf Course and include the installation of new dwelly units and RV stalls as well as renovations to the existing structures. Affected lands are shown below.
A copy of the proposed bylaw may be inspected at the offices of the North Coast Regional District, 14-342 3rd Avenue West, Prince Rupert, BC between the hours of 8:30 am and 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday, except statutory holidays, as well as the Regional District website at https://www.ncrdbc.com/governance/bylaws/bylaws-consideration
