Notice of Public Hearing Waived Bylaws No. 701, 2025 & 702, 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Board of the North Coast Regional District has waived the holding of a public hearing for Bylaw No. 701, 2025 and 702, 2025; being proposed bylaws to amend the Moresby Island Interim Zoning Bylaw No. 186, 1989.
In general terms, the purpose of the proposed amendment bylaws are to amend the Regional District’s Moresby Island Interim Zoning Bylaw No. 186, 1989) changing the zoning designation on those portions of district lot LOT 160 Queen Charolette district except 1281 4471 9473 10347 11530 PRP 13748 from A-1 Agriculture/Forestry District to R-2 Urban Residential, as depicted in Schedule A attached hereto and forming part of this bylaw.
A copy of the Board resolution waiving the public hearing and a copy of the proposed bylaw may be inspected at the offices of the North Coast Regional District, 205-815 1st Avenue West, Prince Rupert, B.C. between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, except statutory holidays.
Letters have been sent to neighboring residents where members were given the opportunity to provide written submissions by June 12, 2025.
