Sandspit Water Consumption Restrictions

Sandspit Water Use Restrictions in Effect July 18^th to September 1^st, 2025

During late spring and summer, throughout periods of warm and dry weather, the water demand from the Sandspit Water System may surpass the production limit of the distribution facilities.

Watering restrictions will allow for more consistent water usage and decrease probability of surpassing the production limit.

In accordance with Part 7 of the Sandspit Water Regulation Bylaw, the North Coast Regional District is limiting the consumption of water from the water system. Water use restrictions are as follows:

• Residential watering is permitted from 7:00 to 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 to 10:00 p.m.
• • Even-numbered address: Monday, Wednesday, Saturday
  • Odd-numbered address: Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday
• Residential water use will be restricted between the hours of 12:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m.
