Notice of Public Hearing - Sandspit Community Hall May 26, 2026

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 7:00 P.M. at 
the Sandspit Community Hall to receive representation from all persons who deem their interests to 
be affected by the following proposed bylaws:

Moresby Island Official Community Plan Amendment Bylaw No. 715, 2026 and Sandspit-Moresby Island 
Interim Zoning Amendment Bylaw No.
716, 2026.
In general terms, the purpose of the amending bylaws are to enable the commercial development of 
the Golf Course by inserting a new zone as “Section  18.0  -  Golf  Course Development District - 
GC-1”.

A copy of the proposed bylaws may be inspected at the offices of the North Coast Regional District, 
205 - 815 1st Avenue  West,  Prince  Rupert,  BC between the hours of 8:30 A.M. and 4:30 P.M., 
Monday to Friday, except statutory  holidays,  as  well  as  the Regional   District   website   at 
www.ncrdbc.com.

If you cannot attend the Public Hearing, all written submissions (mailed or electronic) must be 
received by the North Coast Regional District no later than 2:00 P.M. on Monday, May 25, 2026. If
