Haida Gwaii Accessibility Committee - Call for Applications for Members

The North Coast Regional District (NCRD) is establishing the Haida Gwaii Accessibility Committee (HGAC) to understand barriers to accessibility and advise on how to remove and prevent barriers through the development of an accessibility plan.

The NCRD is calling for nominations for a minimum of (6) members and a maximum of (12) members to be appointed to the Accessibility Committee for a two (2) year term.

Our goal is to have over half of HGAC be represented by persons with disabilities (visible or invisible) or individuals who represent organizations that support persons with disabilities.

Individuals interested in being considered for nomination are asked to submit a written expression of interest, including a description of skills and life experiences that would make you an appropriate committee member, by 4:30 p.m. on July 28, 2023, to:
